The 3 (social interaction) by 2 (cutting frequenty or intensity) mixed design experiment considered consumer indulging in decisions based on social interactions, through a fictional context where they buy a gourmet coffee for 4$ at a nearby shop. Participants were randomly assigned to one of three experimental conditions for social interactions: solitary, whereby they would consume the drink alone, with friends. The third, with social interaction, implied the gathering with friends would still take place if you cut the frequency. The data are in wide format, with cut (frequency, intensity) on separate columns.
