appreciation

[double] average score questions related to appreciation (appreciate, feel thankful, feel grateful, feel pleased)

surprise

[double] average score for questions related to unexpectedness and surprise of reaching out

initiator

[factor] experimental condition, either initiator if self or responder if the other initiated the contact.

age

[double] age of participant

gender

[factor] gender of participant, one of male, female or other
